A day to Daman

     Daman - Union Territory 

Daman is the capital city of the Indian Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. Daman divides in two parts. First is nani(small) daman and second is moti(big) daman. This is one of the most attractive tourist place among the union territories.

On this new year eve 2022, I visited this place with my friends cum family named "PANCHAT FAMILY". As we were short of leaves so we decided to have a one day trip to Daman. We were group of 5 girls  travelled by train named "FLYING RANI" and started our journey from Borivali again. Other members of group decided to meet directly at the destination. Vapi is the nearest railway station to Daman. As usual train was 30 mins late so we reached half and hour late. After reaching Vapi we have to move to Daman. There were options of Taxi and Auto for Daman. But we didn't hired anyone of this because two of our friend came to pick us up by car as it was their hometown. We got fresh and had small breakfast at one of our friends place.

We headed towards exploring mode. As we had only one day to explore so we decided to visit one of the top place of daman i.e. the cleanest beach of daman 'Jampore Beach'. After reaching there we were amazed to see the beautiful view of the beach. 

Jampore beach is located in moti daman and consist of dark sand and mud coloured water. It is the place which offers many sportified activities such as camel and horse riding, water sports like disco ride, banana boat ride and parasailing and many more. We opted for disco ride, it was very scary experience but we enjoyed alot. Had a camel ride and also done with parasailing. After enjoying alot, we visited a nearby dhaba and had a fancy and tasty lunch along with conversation with friends. Again we wrapped up and returned back to tiring  schedule.

It is really amazing that this little known beach offers so many options for tourist. Other than this beaches also there is many places to visit in daman like church, mirasol lake garden, fort, etc. Best season to visit Daman is from October to February.

I would always suggest one to jump into this union territory, drink your heart out and go back home.
